Today I want to review a tool that I have been using for over a year now called Indeed Jobs. To have a look around on their website, click here. For the record, I am in no way affiliated with this company nor have I ever received any money from them.
It’s a search engine for job searching and I have found it to be an impressive yet easy to use tool. It’s free to search for jobs and to be notified when jobs matching your search criteria (i.e. “acupuncture, acupuncturist”) come up.
It really simple – just type what kind of job you are looking for, then where you are looking and click on the “Find Jobs” button. There are also options that allow you to set an ongoing search so that you don’t manually have to do this every time. Instead the search engine will deliver an e-mail to your inbox with new job postings which match your search criteria.
Additionally, you may post your resume to the site so that potential employers can view it with your submission to a job posting. Employers can with one click from the home page search on submitted resumes and with another click, post new jobs.
What is really cool about Indeed.com is that it offers mobile applications so that one can receive job postings, submit resumes and apply for jobs while using mobile device or tablet.
In my own searches for the keywords, “acupuncture, acupuncturist” I have received far more hits using this job search engine than any other (including Kaiser Permanente’s Jobs site). When I first started using it, I thought it would just turn out to be another not-so-useful job search tool but it has turned out to be anything but. My suggestion to you if you are looking for an acupuncture hospital job is to start using this site today!
